AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, November 6, 2017 – Xylem (NYSE: XYL), a leading global water technology company dedicated to solving the world’s most challenging water issues, will exhibit its latest marine technology at METSTRADE 2017, the largest business to business (B2B) event for the global leisure marine industry, taking place in Amsterdam from November 14-16.
This year, Xylem will exhibit its extensive marine technology portfolio at booth 01.539, while also showcasing the company’s new, best in class marine products from the Jabsco and Rule brands. Xylem’s comprehensive product offering includes advanced engine cooling, bilge, deckwash and freshwater pumps, along with in-line, flange-mount and flex-mount centrifugal blowers which are suitable for use in all marine applications.
At METSTRADE 2017, Xylem will launch its new range of Jabsco Par Max water pressure pumps, specially designed to meet increasingly stringent German guidelines for equipment in contact with potable water*. The small diaphragm pumps are capable of pumping an output flow of 11 litres per minute (l/pm) and their multi-diaphragm design self-primes to a 1.8 meter (m) vertical lift, with the ability to run dry without damage.
Xylem will also showcase its continually expanding range of enhanced Rule brand bilge pump series at this year’s exhibition. Rule’s next generation bilge pumps have been tested to the highest standard and have an optimized impeller to provide a greater flow at the same amperage, resulting in better efficiency for even the toughest applications. Rule’s new design also includes a built-in Thermal Cut-Off (TCO) for added protection during operation, as well as a back-flow prevention device to reduce the amount of water left over in the bilge, reducing odor and maintaining cleanliness.

Jabsco 45 Litre (l) Fresh Water Pump Set – An automatic 3-stage fresh water pressure system pump designed to cope with the demands on-board larger vessels. The 3-stage pump operation and large accumulator tank ensures smooth constant flow. As demand increases, the staged pumps cut in to provide the required flow rate. The 45L pump set can self-prime from dry and is capable of dry running should the water supply run out.
15 Millimetre (mm) Push Fit Plumbing Connector – The new Push Fit Plumbing Connector allows customers to connect Jabsco Par-Max water pressure systems, washdown pumps and bilge pumps directly to semi rigid 15mm pipework systems such as John Guest and Hep2O. The new connector eliminates the requirement to purchase connectors that will interface between Jabsco threaded port fittings and the pipework, significantly reducing installation time.
